He is a phenomenon, a ‘crack’ of this sport. When you tell him that you have a problem with the bike, he makes a modification and solves it for you, it’s very simple! When you work like this, everything is already easy, the rider can concentrate as much as possible on doing things right on the track, while the crew chief takes care of doing things right on the bike. This year, perhaps also because we have been working for almost two years and we work on the same bike as last season, we immediately felt much better from the tests, we understood each other immediately. Have you analyzed the 2019 data a lot this season and also the data of the rest of the drivers?
“It is difficult to compare my data with that of the other Yamaha riders, because the bike is different and making this comparison is not exactly perfect. “I’m trying to get the best out of this championship. If it’s a first, second, third or even fourth place, it will be great for me.
