A tree fell on some cars parked in via di Novella, in the Trieste district, in Rome. Firefighters and local police are on site. According to local police reports, agents from the Emergency Public Safety group rescued two girls who were trapped in one of the cars. And this morning a piece of cornice fell from a building in Piazza Crati, wounding a man, a customer of a tobacconist, who was taken by 118 to the hospital in code yellow. Another tree fell in Piazza Buenos Aires, in Parioli, cutting the tram cables. The Local Police are carrying out interventions in various areas of the city, in synergy with civil protection and firefighters, due to fallen branches or trees that in some cases have damaged vehicles.
