SITUATION. A series of Atlantic impulses will continue to reach our regions, driven by a vast circulatory depression that spans almost the entire continent, fueled by cold Arctic air. At least until New Year’s Eve, many of our regions will have to deal with such disturbed passages., which will cause snowfall even at low altitudes, not only in the north but also along the Apennines. In detail:

WEDNESDAY 30. A disturbed impulse compromises the central-south regions, especially involving those on the Tyrrhenian side, snowfall in the Apennine mountain range. Share snow in 400 / 500m in the westernmost Tuscan-Emilian sector, although these phenomena are not too insistent and, in any case, they will tend to disappear at night. The new disturbance will spread from the northwest to the northeast and into the Tyrrhenian regions, causing snowfall that could fall to the plains of Piedmont and western Lombardy, dai 200 / 500m in the central-eastern Alps. In the Apennines, the snow altitude of 800 / 1000m in the north-central sector, up to 1500m In the south.
