MORE SNOW IN THE NEXT DAYS – The circulation of the cold depression that covers a large part of central and southern Europe will continue to show its effects also in Italy during the next few days with still snowfall, sometimes at low altitude. But let’s see in more detail:

New snow is expected on Tuesday along the north-central Apennines starting from 500/700 meters in the central one, decreasing to 300 / 500m in the north, sometimes even lower in the Emilian sectors. Other snowfalls are also expected in the lower-middle interior of Piedmont and Liguria initially from 200/400 m, but with flakes that could sometimes push towards the plain at night between Asti, Alessandria, Pavia and western Emilia. Snow at night in Trentino, Venetian Pre-Alps, Dolomites and Carnic Alps down to low altitude. Possible accumulations at the end of the day between 30/40 cm between the Alpes-Maritimes and the lower Cuneo area; 10/15 cm on the northern ridge of the Apennines.

The snow will continue on Wednesday along the north central ridge initially to around 300 / 400m in the northern sectors, 400 / 700m in the central sectors, but with a slight increase in snow during the day. More flakes rising low in the Triveneto hills in gradual exhaustion.

Possible further deterioration over the weekend in the North Center with new snowfalls down to low altitude, sometimes to the plain. However, given the still uncertain situation, the forecast could undergo strong variations. Therefore, we invite you to follow the next updates.
