THE NEW POSITIVES
Even today there are several centers in Molise with new positive aspects, some so far “saved” from contagion. In order, 16 new cases in Campobasso, 12 in Isernia (currently amounting to 200 positives) and 12 in Sessano del Molise, involving a new cluster in a nursing home. Then 8 cases in Carovilli, 6 in Castepetroso and Fornelli, 5 in Termoli, 4 in Riccia and Spinete. 3 cases each in Monteroduni, Pescolanciano, Portocannone. 2 instead in Agnone, Bojano, Fossalto, Pesche and Venafro. Finally, a case in Busso, Guglionesi, Ielsi, Larino, Montaquila, Oratino, Pozzilli, San Giuliano del Sannio.
RECOVERY, DIMISSION AND CURING
There are three new hospitalizations in Infectious Diseases: the new patients come from Fossalto, Riccia and Isernia. At the same time, a Cercemaggiore patient was discharged from the same ward. Therefore, the beds occupied in Cardarelli are currently 23 (of which 5 in Intensive Care). Today there is no cure.

The infection worries Molise and the health authorities, especially because joins others already found in recent weeks inside the residences that house the elderly. They are the most fragile subjects, those who risk their lives due to the presence in their body of the SARS Cov 2 virus, since unfortunately we are having the confirmation of a daily news report, which it is lethal in the presence of other pathologies and in already weakened organisms.
The number of Molise homes for the elderly is therefore on the rise, where there are obviously gaps in terms of security and protection, and which today have to face a very difficult situation. We remember that there are about fifty positives in the nursing home Maria Gargani from Isernia and just under 30 infected in the Vinchiaturo facilities. Also in Oratino the coronavirus reached a nursing home, while during the start of the second wave Villa Adriatica in Portocannone was also involved by a massive spread of the virus, where fortunately now the situation seems to have stabilized.
There were also several nursing homes which, sadly, were the protagonists of numerous deaths among older guests during the first wave, in the period between March and May. The most important clusters of Cercemaggiore and Agnone.

NATIONAL DATA
There is a new registry of cases, for the fifth consecutive day, at the national level: 31,758 positives detected today, October 31, in about 216 thousand swabs. Thus, infections were up from 31,084 yesterday (when the swabs were roughly the same). Deaths soared to 297 versus 199 yesterday. Intensive care patients are also growing (today +97) for a total of 1843. Total of 17,966 for ordinary hospitalizations, +972 in the last 24 hours.
