It all happened 43 minutes after midnight, according to the regional urgent emergency company. According to an initial reconstruction, the shooting took place shortly after a dispute on the street between an Albanian citizen and the two victims. The former would leave after the argument and return with a 7.65 caliber pistol and exploding several shots.
One bullet hit the skull of the 39-year-old man, while another lodged in the thigh of the same age. Their conditions immediately seemed desperate, so much so that Operations Center 118 had dispatched two ambulances and a code red auto-medic to the scene. The most seriously injured was transferred to the Polyclinic where he fights between life and death; the second wounded was accompanied in code yellow to Niguarda.
Police officers, led by prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro from the Milan prosecutor’s office, are working to locate and arrest the man who opened fire. Some useful details for the investigation could come from CCTV cameras in the area.
