One of the most moving moments experienced by the presenter in this 2020 was during the last edition of “Tù si que vales”, when her friend and partner Gerry scotti discovered that he had contracted Covid.
“He found out while we were filming an episode, he explained in relation to Silvia Toffanin – initially it was fine, then the virus took some space … A few days later I called Gerry and heard that in his voice something had changed, at that moment I did not have the courage to ask him what was happening. I realized that something was wrong and I started writing to him because maybe it was easier, I was very scared ”.
Fortunately Scotti he managed to beat the disease and return in time for the end of the program: “I was very happy when he returned – he explained – I found him slim and beautiful like the sun and he was also happy to finally be able to return to work”.
