Maradona, autopsy: pulmonary edema infarction

Acute heart failure, with dilated cardiomyopathy: these are the results of the preliminary autopsy carried out immediately in the afternoon on the body of Diego Armando Maradona, who died yesterday around 12 at his residence. The exams were carried out at the San Fernando hospital, outside of which, as in many other emblematic places in Argentina, numerous fans were stationed in shock. The autopsy lasted about three hours, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and was attended by five health workers summoned by the Public Ministry of San Isidro, led by the director of the San Isidro Forensic Medical Corps, Federico Corasaniti . These five were joined by a sixth physician appointed by the family. Finally, it was known that the study carried out to determine the causes of death will be completed with toxicological analyzes that within a week will specify whether Maradona, before dying, had ingested drugs, drugs or alcohol.
