While waiting to know in detail the text of the next DPCM on anti-covid measures, we can already confirm that today the Council of Ministers approved a decree law that will come into force as of October 8 and that provides an overview of the measures to be taken in the coming days.
The decree imposes the obligation to always carry the mask with you and to wear it not only indoors (and therefore in the workplace) but also outdoors.
Another important provision concerns the Regions: they may not adopt less restrictive rules than those of the government, unless there are specific situations to be agreed with the Minister of Health.
The provision also extends the state of emergency until January 31 and therefore, until that date, President Conte may issue regulatory provisions using the instrument of the DPCM (Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers).
It remains to be seen whether the obligation to wear masks in the workplace also affects schools. In the next few hours, there could be a clarification on the matter by Minister Lucía Azzolina.
