TURIN. The corporate stalking behavior of an employee led to house arrest for the CEO of an IT company del Torinese: the measure, notified by the police, was triggered by persecutory acts and private violence. The man is 56 years old.
The investigations
The investigation began when the woman went to a shelter in the city and to the police headquarters. According to the first hypotheses of the prosecution, immediately after the hiring, in 2018, the CEO reviewed it with emails, calls and messages on the company’s mobile phone in the afternoons and during the weekend. He called her into his office and said: “I am the owner of this company and I give you your salary. You have to do what I tell you. She had someone to follow her and schedule her lunch breaks. The woman stayed home for a while due to stress. That is why the CEO had sent him a letter of dismissal, an act that, however, had been revoked by the other shareholder. But the 56-year-old woman, upon returning to work, had made her find the office without a computer and the door without a handle. That day, the victim fell ill and intervened 118: the man hindered the paramedics during the assistance phase, until the police intervened.
