“In 2023 the M5S will be alone in the political elections. Maximum two terms for parliamentarians, with a third only in its own Municipality. Strengthen Rousseau, the heart of the Movement.” Alessandro Di Battista comes to light and, on Facebook, puts his movement in black and white in view of the States General. Motion he led, of course, regardless of whether the political leader is monochromatic or collegiate. Motion in which the former deputy highlights the three most divisive points of the Movement: that of alliances, of course. But above all, the relationship between Cinque Stelle and Rousseau and the resignation of the third term. Di Battista, in the five points dedicated to the Movement on his platform, really wants to go back to the origins. Where government appointments are “transparent” and at the same time propose an “internationalization” of the M5S. The Dibba announces a true congress campaign.
Who publishes an ad hoc email where to send you other proposals and highlights how, in the coming days, you will present your proposals individually. The title of the platform is at least ambitious. “Agenda 2020-30. Facing the post-Covi world,” the post reads. Immediately below, the 31 points with which, in the “Dibba” scheme, think about the Italy of the future. An Italy that, in its design, emerges with a strong presence of the State, with environmental traction, with support for “the new poor” post-Covid, with a firm “stop to useless works” and “an implementation of citizenship”. Among the points is, of course, not only the brake on the ESM and austerity, but also the definitive cancellation of the stability pact.
And, on the front lines of the electoral system, the return to preferences and the obligation of candidates to stand as candidates in their electoral districts. This last point is shared by Di Battista and Luigi Di Maio. But the priorities of connection between the former deputy and the governors are different: from the Sunday closing of shops to updating the corrupt, to the minimum wage. And when it comes to the Movement, the Di Battista motion is likely to be a minority in Congress.
Also because, in the meantime, the war between Rousseau and a part of the M5S continues and is enriched by the open response between the Association and Roberta Lombardi in an exchange of poison posts about a letter that several regional advisers of the M5S had prepared but, they never actually shipped. On Friday, the motion “Parole Guerriere”, in the webinar, will list its priorities, with the support of a large group of parliamentarians.
Priorities that include a very strong reduction of Rousseau. However, almost at the same time, the platform will be relaunched with the videoconference presentation of the new “Rousseau X” application. Another piece of the great battle for the political survival of the creature of Gianroberto Casaleggio.
