M5, the letter of 24 deputies to Vito Crimi: “Enough of chimneys. No to sudden votes on Rousseau without confrontation”

An open letter signed by 24 M5 deputies ask the political leader Vito Crimi to avoid another vote on the Rousseau platform “without a proper internal debate.” After the discontent and tensions of the last days and, above all, after the leak of the news that the confrontation between General states To elect the new leader could have jumped with a vote in the network, a group of parliamentarians decided to take a public position. The letter was posted on the Facebook profile of Warrior words, a group that was originally born to organize moments of reflection and study in the 5 star movement and that it has recently started taking a position on some internal issues. Among the signatures, we highlight those of some parliamentarians in the second term: Delilah Nesci (first promoter of the Parole guerriere project), the undersecretary of the Interior Carlo Sibilia and the president of the Constitutional Affairs Commission Giuseppe Brescia (which is now dealing with the difficult game of electoral law).

The time has come for a clear, unpretentious internal confrontation ”. The reason why they decided to write such a letter, the parliamentarians write, arises precisely from the rumors of the last days and the risk that the States General will not be made. “Dear Vito”, it is the debut, “we are writing to present you with some urgent considerations, in light of the latest rumors that have appeared in the press in a vote that would refer to the nature of future leadership. Our intention is to support them in this delicate phase and offer them some of our operational proposals ”.

“The various“ souls ”of the Movement – the letter continues – must to be able to expose and summarize your political proposal on the future of the M5. Only when everyone’s positions are clear can we interact to delineate a common perimeter in which to democratically organize the “States General”, which represent the only way to trace a renewed political identity of the M5S.
