Is Emilia back in the yellow zone?
Yes, since Sunday. Today the official approval is expected. Less severe measures are back with respect to the orange zone, but beware: from December 21 to January 6, the new government decree that imposes more restrictions on holidays comes into force.

Until what time can you leave?

From 5 to 22 hours, “except for proven reasons of work, necessity and health, with a recommendation not to travel except for reasons of health, work, study, situations of need”. On New Years Eve, the curfew was tightened from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on January 1.

Will bars and restaurants reopen?
Yes, they are open until 6pm, then they can guarantee take out until 10pm. There are no restrictions on home delivery. Restaurants are open for lunch also at Christmas, San Esteban, New Year’s Eve and Epiphany. Maximum 4 people per table, unless they all live together.

Can I organize dinner for the holidays?
It is strongly recommended not to receive people who do not live together at home.

Can I go shopping?
Retail stores are open until January 6 at 9:00 PM. Stores in shopping malls and galleries are closed on holidays and the day before January 15. The exceptions are, among others, pharmacies, health centers, food, tobacconists and kiosks.

Can I go to another municipality or region?
The yellow zone provides for freedom of movement between municipalities and also between regions of the same color. The new decree imposes restrictions during the Christmas period. From December 21 to January 6, any movement between regions is prohibited. On December 25 and 26 and January 1, any movement between municipalities is prohibited, except for proven needs. Return to residence, domicile or home is allowed, excluding second residences.

And the schools?
The yellow zone provides for distance learning for secondary schools, except for students with disabilities and in the case of the use of laboratories; Face-to-face teaching for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Universities closed. The new decree provides for a 75% return to class for high school students as of January 7.

Positive or negative? Tampon machines will run 24 hours a day.

Reduction of passengers up to 50% in public transport, except for school transport.
