[ad_1]

As of December 1 on the special portal of the Customs and Monopolies Agency

https://servizi.lotteriadegliscontrini.gov.it/codicelotteria

you can generate the lottery code useful to participate in the prize contest of the Receipt lottery starting next January 1, 2021.

After the extensions established by the emergency of covid 19, the countdown of the national contest begins as announced in the press release of yesterday, November 30, from the same Customs when informing that “ADM puts its know-how at the disposal of the gaming sector and prepares for new withdrawals, also mobilizing the network of territorial structures – Monopoly Offices – where the winners must go to identify and indicate the payment methods for the prizes”.

Let’s summarize how the contest works:

The receipt lottery is national and free, begins on January 1, 2021 and includes weekly, monthly and annual raffles and prizes.

All individuals of legal age, resident in Italy, who have obtained the lottery code and buy goods or services in retail stores, can participate.

As of January 1, 2021, normal purchases, in cash or with traceable payment methods (credit cards, debit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, cards and applications connected to exclusive and limited spending circuits) will produce free virtual tickets “that will allow you to participate in the raffles:

  • Ordinary
  • zero cash (having paid with electronic payment instruments, you can participate in both types). This type of giveaway has prizes for both the buyer and the merchant.

The merchant, when collecting the fee and issuing the receipt (commercial, non-fiscal document), is obliged to transmit the relative data (for tax purposes) to the Tax Agency; the same data, if combined with the buyer’s lottery code, automatically allows participation in the lottery.

To participate, you must access the “Participate now” space available today on the home page of the lottery portal, enter your tax code and generate the lottery code, then save it and always carry it with you.

Once the lottery has started, the purchase of goods or services whose value is equal to or greater than 1 euro and the presentation of the lottery code to the operator will be combined with the purchase data: each euro of the purchase will thus be transformed into a ticket of virtual lottery, up to a maximum of a thousand virtual tickets for each receipt.

The following purchases do not allow you to participate in the lottery:

  • purchases of less than one euro;
  • purchases made online;
  • purchases intended for the exercise of a business, art or profession;
  • in the start-up phase of the lottery, purchases documented by electronic invoices;
  • always in the start-up phase of the draw, purchases whose payment data are transmitted to the Health Card system (for example purchases made in pharmacies, parapharmacies, opticians, analysis laboratories, veterinary clinics, etc.);
  • always in the start-up phase of the lottery, purchases for which the buyer requests the operator to acquire its own tax code for the purposes of tax deduction or deduction.

As clarified in the FAQ section of the portal:

“You can participate in the raffle with all your receipts for an amount equal to or greater than one euro: you will be entitled to one virtual ticket for each euro spent up to a maximum of 1000 virtual tickets for purchases equal to or greater than 1000 euros; Then 10 receipts can get up to 10,000 virtual tickets, 100 receipts up to 100,000 virtual tickets, etc.

If the amount spent is greater than one euro, any decimal number greater than 49 cents will produce another virtual ticket. “
