HERACLEA – The car ends up in the ditch and gets stuck. The accident occurred on metropolitan highway 54, between Ponte Crepaldo and the Strait of Eraclea. It all happened around 5.30pm. The woman driving a small car was unable to keep the car on the road and lost control. The car flew into the ditch and the victim got stuck in the cab. The alarm was immediately raised by some motorists who alerted 118. Suem’s health workers arrived at the scene with the Fire Brigade who had to work hard to free the motorist and hand him over to the health service personnel.
