Those affected by the covid, the disease caused by the coronavirus, will continue without paying the ticket for examinations and verification visits in Lombardy. On Wednesday afternoon, in fact, the Pirellone regional council approved the renewal of the exemption with the code “D97” for the whole of 2021.
The benefit was introduced last June and was renewed on September 7. Now it has been directly renewed for the next twelve months.
“The facilitation includes post-Covid follow-up activities,” explained the Councilor for Well-being, Giulio Gallera, “such as, in particular, infectious, pneumological, cardiological, neurological, physiological and hematological examinations with the diagnostic tests linked to them. It also includes psychological and clinical interviews that are particularly important for many people affected by the coronavirus. “
“The Lombardy Region – Commissioner Gallera concluded – has decided to further expand this important measure, considering all control activities and diagnostic research after the disease as fundamental”.
The measure has a financial coverage of 4.4 million euros for the whole year
