Libya, two Italian fishing boats seized north of Benghazi

The Libyan military detained the four Sicilian fishing boats: in addition to the two later seized, also mother Anna de Mazara del Vallo and Natalino de Pozzallo. The commanders of the four boats were forced to board a Libyan navy boat, and during this operation two of the four fishing boats managed to reverse the route and escape.

Confirming the seizure of the two Italian ships was the Captaincy of the Port of Mazara, explaining that the case is now being handled by the Farnesina Crisis Unit.
