Infections grow in Sardinia, 101 cases and 3 deaths
A total of 4,481 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 101 new cases were registered, 79 detected through screening activities and 22 due to suspected diagnosis. There are three new deaths, two men, aged 77 and 84, and a woman aged 90, all residents of northern Sardinia. The victims are 160 in total. In total, 204,430 swabs were performed, an increase of 2,056 tests compared to the last update. On the other hand, 128 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+3), while the number of patients in intensive care remains unchanged: 19. There are 2,243 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,907 (+42) recovered patients, plus another 24 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 4,481 positive cases verified in total, 684 (+15) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 499 (+14) in the south of Sardinia, 346 (+4) in Oristano, 676 (+10 ) in Nuoro, 2,276 (+58) in Sassari.
Cases increase in Marche, 84 in 24 hours

Those cured grew 0.6% and reached 10,673 (65.6% of all cases). The swabs performed reached 797,046, 10,014 more than yesterday. The current positives are 4,428 today, + 5.5% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 151 (6 more than yesterday), of which 28 in intensive care (stable). In total, 4,277 people are isolated at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care or do not have symptoms (223 more than yesterday, 5.5% more). There are 9,883 (1,085 more than yesterday, plus 12.3%) people, also isolated, under active surveillance, for having had contact with infected people.
193 new cases in Emilia-Romagna, one victim

There are 16 new infections linked to returns from abroad, five from other regions. The average age of new positives today is 40.5 years. The highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Bologna (45), Piacenza (27), Modena (23). The number of hospitalized patients is growing: there are 14 patients in intensive care (+1 compared to yesterday), 223 (+11) those in the other Covid wards.
Yesterday’s numbers
Yesterday there were 2,677 new positives and 99,742 swabs were made. 28 deaths in 24 hours. The swab / case ratio was 37.3. 3,625 were hospitalized patients with symptoms, while 319 patients were in intensive care. 56,190 people were in home isolation yesterday. In total, there were 60,134 positive people on Tuesday, 234,099 discharged / cured.
