There are 2,677 new positives today (2,253 yesterday), with 99,742 swabs made, a much higher number than yesterday’s 60,241. 28 deaths in 24 hours (yesterday 16), for a total of 36,030 victims since the beginning of the epidemic. The buffer / case ratio was 37.3, an improvement over the previous day (26.7). 3,625 patients hospitalized with symptoms (138 more than yesterday), while in intensive care there are 319 patients, a slight decrease compared to 323 yesterday. 56,190 people are in home isolation, 1,097 more than yesterday. In total, 60,134 people are currently positive (58,903 yesterday); 234,099 discharged / cured (yesterday they were 232,689). In total, 330,263 people have contracted Covid since the beginning of the epidemic.

In Campania the highest number of new infections

Even today, the region where the most new infections were found in the 24 hours is Campania, with 395 cases. Lombardy (350 cases) and Lazio (275) follow. No region is free from new infections; the one with the lowest number is Basilicata (4).

350 new positives in Lombardy, no deaths

There are 350 new Covid positives in Lombardy with 16,020 swabs made, for a percentage equal to 2.1%. 373 recover and are discharged, while hospitalizations in intensive care decreased by 1 and those in other departments increased by 15. Zero deaths in the Region. There are 153 new cases in Milan, of which 81 in the city; 35 in Varese, 34 in Monza and Brianza, 19 in Brescia, 17 in Como, 15 in Mantua, 12 in Pavia, 9 in Lecco, 8 in Sondrio, 2 in Lodi.

Another 62 cases in Umbria, hospitalizations increase

Another 62 new coronavirus positives were identified in Umbria in the last day, 2,757 in total, compared to 2,582 swabs performed. These are the data of the daily update on the website of the Region. The number of hospitalized patients continues to grow, from 47 to 50, five of whom (stable) in intensive care. Another 20 recovered, 1,918, while no other victims are reported, 86 in total. The positives currently range from 711 to 753.

Veneto: 10,000 isolates, 189 new cases

The number of people placed in fiduciary isolation in Veneto due to the coronavirus reaches 10,000. The data comes from the new Regional Bulletin, which reports 189 new cases, bringing the total to 29,043. Of the isolates, 2,877 are positive and 190 of them are symptomatic. Current positives for the coronavirus are 4,526, 125 more than yesterday. There are 4 new victims, with a total of 2,198. The number of hospitalized in non-critical wards of hospitals increased, to 275 (+20), of which 208 (+26) were positive. On the other hand, the pressure on intensive care decreases, with 26 hospitalized (-3) of which 15 (-5) are positive.
