A three-year-old boy with positive covid-19. The Ausl Romagna Public Hygiene Department immediately ordered the swab for the boy’s kindergarten friends, who attended “Il Bruco”, but also for the parents and staff of the municipal nursery school. Mayor Gian Luca Zattini was immediately informed of the case. On Saturday morning the good and long-awaited news arrived: all negative. Instead, the child who contracted the virus is in isolation at home. You may return to school only after the double-check swab is negative after clinical recovery.

During the week, on the other hand, a high school student from the Liceo Classico and a student from Livio Tempesta’s primary school were positive. As Mayor Zattini had already communicated on Wednesday, Ausl staff carried out all the necessary controls on the two situations and evaluated, in both, that there are no situations attributable to close contacts in the school environment, neither between students nor between them and the school staff (Ata and teaching staff) employed in the same class.

For the latter, therefore, isolation was not provided, but swabs were carried out for mainly cognitive and preventive purposes. Pending the result, the two classes and the personnel involved will have to take all the spacing measurements and wear the mask even in a static position. As a result of what has been highlighted, not only was the closure of the two class groups not ordered, but not even the closure of the two different institutes.
