More blood in France. After the Nice attack, another dramatic episode in Avignon. The police reportedly killed a man around 11:15 am. The officers reacted to an attempted knife attack, according to reports from Europe 1 radio. The man at the time of the attack shouted Allah Akbar. The attack, confirmed by the French Interior Minister, occurred about two hours after the Nice episode, the attacker died after injuries sustained in the confrontation with the police.
