ARSIE ‘(BELLUNO) – One tragedy that shocked the whole country. TO Arsiè yesterday two dead were killed by carbon monoxide fumes released by a stufa a gas probably faulty.

DEATH

THE NIGHT
Adriano Faoro resided in a house in via I Maggio in Arsiè with his two sons, Alessio and Manolo. He had been dating Sabrina De Pellegrin from Belluno for some time. On Saturday night, the two decided to spend the evening together and chose Adriano’s other house, the one on via San Sebastiano that the man had been renovating for some time, dedicating time and investments to it. During the night its malfunction could have given off carbon monoxide, an odorless gas that can be lethal, as it was in this case. The two, probably asleep, did not realize that they were breathing it and first lost consciousness and then lost their lives.

THE DISCOVERY
The alarm went off shortly before noon yesterday. Without seeing the man for so many hours, it seems that some friends have become suspicious and have tried to call him on the phone, without success. So here is the call for help. The police from the Arsiè station and later the firefighters from the Feltre detachment arrived at the scene in a short time, followed by ambulance 118 sent from the Santa Maria del Prato hospital in Feltre. The glass in the door had to be broken to enter the house in via San Sebastiano. Once inside, the doctors could not avoid noting the death of the couple. The cause of death was clear and therefore the bodies were immediately made available to the next of kin. The authorization was granted by the prosecutor on duty Martha Late. Investigations of the Arsiè carabinieri commanded by Marshal Walter Buttigliero and the firefighters are underway to rule out any possibility.

THE VICTIMS
