US President-elect Joe Biden received the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine. Biden, 78, was vaccinated live Monday night Monday, December 21 at ChristianaCare Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, near his home. “There’s nothing to worry about,” he said, “and I’m looking forward to the second dose.” Biden also praised the outgoing administration, led by Donald Trump, for the speed with which it made the vaccine available. The vaccine produced by Pfizer-BioNTech was approved on December 12 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the US government agency that deals with drugs.
