AGI – New change of colors, in several Italian regions, on the front lines of the fight against Covid 19. As of today, Sunday, December 6, after the signing of the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, there is 8 orange regions (Medium risk), 11 yellow regions (low risk) and a single red region (high risk).
The picture of the situation, in this second wave, captures a situation in marked improvement but – all the experts emphasize – we must continue to respect the rules on distancing because it is not a “free all”. Caution and attention are always advised, also to avoid relapses and the well-founded risk of a third wave in the coming weeks.
The red regions, therefore, went first from 8 to 5, and from today to 1.
Besides Lombardy, Piedmont and Calabria, in fact, also Campania, Tuscany. The autonomous province of Bolzano, Valle d’Aosta, has left the area where the maximum restrictions are foreseen to try to stop new infections.
From orange to yellow, however, another 5 regions have passed. As a result of the new ordinance, therefore, the red regions are stopped at only one, 8 the orange regions (and an autonomous province) and 11 the yellow regions (and an autonomous province).

Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Marche, Puglia, Umbria, Lazio, Liguria, Molise, Autonomous Province of Trento, Sardinia, Sicily.
ORANGE ZONE
Lombardy, Piedmont, Campania, Tuscany, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Valle d’Aosta, Basilicata, Calabria.
RED AREA
Abruzzo.
The situation, which could change in the coming days, towards an almost completely ‘yellow’ country, is the result of the evaluation of a series of parameters that help experts to evaluate the different risk factors in each region.
What can and cannot be done
The rules established by the dpcmObviously, they vary from region to region depending on the risk index, but some services are guaranteed throughout the country, others are limited from one area to another.
School chapter: in the red zones in attendance up to sixth grade, in the others up to eighth grade. But with regard to the school, many times it is the Regions, and in several cases even the Municipalities, who decide with their own ordinances, and there is no shortage of controversies and appeals to the TAR.
In the red regions and also in the oranges they are Movement between regions and between municipalities is prohibited. (Unless proven work, study, health, need, and self-certification reasons are always required).
The bars, patisseries and restaurants are closed and only take-out or home delivery is allowed until 10 p.m. Activities open until 6:00 p.m., however in the yellow zone. The “curfew” applies to everyone, and there is the closure, throughout the national territory, of cinemas and theaters, the suspension of live shows, the cessation of a series of sports activities.
And in any case the obligation to wear a mask, even outdoors, in addition to social distancing. In fact, the real “weapons” to effectively counter the spread of the coronavirus.
Refering to Christmas holidays, finally, the current dpcm from December 4 requires another set of constraints, especially in the days of Christmas, San Esteban and New Years.
