There are many news about the start of the school year, the first of the covid era that marks a school that will no longer be like the one the students left on March 4. Here is a guide on the new rules, on what can be done and what can no longer be done, on obligations and prohibitions.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE
TEMPERATURE Students must take their temperature every day. If you have more than 37.5 ° or symptoms attributable to covid, you should stay home and contact your doctor. If after the entrance the student presents fever or flu symptoms, she will not be able to remain inside the school.
HYGIENE Wash your hands frequently and use disinfectant products available at the institution. Each institution will be cleaned daily and disinfected periodically. If the educational activities take place outside the school, the local authorities or the owners of the premises must certify its suitability, in terms of safety, and cleaning and surveillance responsibilities must be defined.
SIGNALING The entrances and exits are differentiated, just follow the instructions provided by the school. Access to visitors and outsiders will be restricted. The possible entry of personnel and students who have already tested positive for COVID must be preceded by prior communication with the medical certification that shows that the swab has been “negative”.
IMMUNE APPLICATION If the student is 14 years old or older, it is a good idea to download the Immuni application that allows you to detect any exposure to Covid-19.
DISTANCE Avoid any meeting and always stay at least one meter away, in the classroom and in all rooms of the school.
MASK It should always be used if you are on the move or in common areas. At the counter, if the distance meter is respected, it can be removed. It is not intended for children under 6 years of age.
TICKETS There is only one chaperone per student. Each school has information on how to access their site.
SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT If a person present at school has a fever or symptoms of a respiratory infection, they should isolate themselves and return home as soon as possible and then follow the planned medical route.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATES In case of an absence of more than three days due to discomfort not attributable to Covid, the principals ask that the mandatory readmission certificate be reintroduced in the school.
TASKS IN QUARANTINE Some institutes foresee the quarantine of the documents in the classroom: the students will place them in boxes and stay there for a few days to avoid the transmission of the virus.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED
SPORT No to sports or group games due to too close contacts, yes to individual games but always at a distance of two meters. Gymnastics should be practiced outdoors or in very spacious rooms that allow effective air exchange.
I SING You will not be able to sing – unless the classrooms are very large – due to the greater amount of particles that the mouth emits that, due to the effort, can go further.
RECREATION it will be possible to do it but not all together in the corridors. The break will take turns and students will not be able to exchange snacks. Some institutions will opt for classroom recreation
CLASSIFICATION BY CLASS if a teacher is absent, students may not be classified into other classes.
CANTEEN Washable cutlery and dishes cannot be used, only plastic or compostable. Single-serve containers are fine. Vigilance will be increased as students will not wear masks for lunch. Some Institutes will opt for the lunch box in the classroom.
SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS It will not be possible to speak in the ears of the companions, to pass objects, to read in the same book because it will be necessary to maintain the distance.
PROF BETWEEN THE BENCHES ONLY WITH A LOT OF SPACE No more teachers passing between desks during class work to check for copies – they will only be able to do this in situations where social distancing is guaranteed.
