In Santa Sofia a new death from covid-19. Mayor Daniele Valbonesi announced this in the usual video update posted on the Municipality’s Facebook page. This is the second victim in a few days after the death of an 86-year-old man. There are 76 positives in the municipality of Alto Val Bidente, four of which are hospitalized. The other 72, in home isolation, “are in good health.” As for the San Vincenzo De Paoli nursing home, there are still 27 positives, 18 of which in the CRA (two hospitalized), two from the housing community (both in isolation in the structure) and seven social and health workers (in home isolation ).
The victim, Valbonesi explains, “is a 93-year-old woman, who was in stable and dignified condition. Covid-19 was certainly responsible for the death. Condolences to the family. This shows the seriousness and the effects it has. the virus”. that it has towards the elderly population. To do this, we must fight it in every way and with all our weapons, because contrary to what some think it is lethal and has consequences on the population, especially the most fragile that must be protected.
