Application library
By sliding your finger to the right, to the end of the pages, we find the Application Library (the first time with a welcome message). It is a new space that automatically organizes all the applications in an easy and intuitive view, and that makes the user appear at that moment those that he considers most useful. You can choose how many pages of the home screen to show, but also hide them for faster access to the application library. If you touch the larger icons (representing the most used applications in each folder), the related application will open instantly.
While for the smaller icons, there will be a double step: first you open the folder in which the applications have been categorized, and then you select the application. When on the application library screen, swipe down to access the list of all applications cataloged in alphabetical order. To delete a page or more pages (to access the application library faster), you can long tap on an empty area of the screen and then on the dots indicated by the pages.
Translate
It’s called “Translate” and it’s a new default app that iPhone owners find on their smartphones when installing iOS 14. It’s a very comprehensive platform, which probably won’t go wrong with the “rival” Google Translate on Apple smartphones . It also works offline and is programmed to translate into many languages: Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. It also has a built-in dictionary, for those who want to look up the deeper meaning of a word (just tap on the translated word). Of course, it also works with voice commands.
Messages
Important news also in the Messages application. Now you can access important messages faster. Users can pin conversations to the top of the list, easily keep up with group threads with built-in mentions and replies, and personalize conversations by setting a group photo with an image or emoji. The new Memoji options in Messages are more inclusive and diverse, with a new set of hairstyles, hats, face shields, and more.
App clip
Revolutionary the new clip of the application. Let’s start with what an app clip is – it’s a small part of an app experience designed to be discovered by users at the exact moment they need it. A way to let you download an app for a maximum of 10MB, so you can test it out (or maybe always use it in Clip format) before proceeding with the actual download. App clips are associated with a particular product or business and load in seconds to help users complete a specific activity, such as renting a scooter, buying coffee, or paying for parking.
