CAMPOBASSO. Anci Molise foresees new restrictions for the Christmas holidays.
«Italy in the red zone from December 24 to January 7 to secure the country. This is the indication that the government gave to the regional Anci in the meeting this morning that gave the green light to the vaccination plan. Minister Speranza recalled that in the regions that entered the red zone, there were significant results, while the other territories of the yellow zone suffered the most. Too dangerous – this is Speranza and Boccia’s reasoning – to keep open during the Christmas holidays.
Several regional governors have stressed that there is also the danger of this weekend, because between Saturday and Sunday Christmas movements and purchases in shops are more concentrated with the danger of crowds. On the other hand, the red zone would now have a more restrictive impact, considering that schools and factories would close, hence the reasoning of some regional presidents about the need to give people a break, however, allowing at least some walks. In any case, the invitation to the executive was to decide immediately and provide refreshments for the categories that will be damaged as soon as possible. The heads of delegation will meet shortly in the presence of Prime Minister Conte. It will be my responsibility to keep you informed of further developments.
