The tragedy that occurred on Monday, when one of them shocked and moved the Palazzolo community seven month old baby he lost his life after swallowing a balloon that fatally blocked his airway.

The family was granted authorization to obtain the girl’s body and allow her a dignified burial, probably in India, the country where her parents come from.

The story takes shape like a tragic but casual fate, so much so that there are no open investigations against the mother, who was at home during the drama.

The girl played in the living room of the apartment in via Gorini with her four-year-old sister with large toys. It seems that a balloon has popped between them to inflate and ended up in their mouth. When the mother realized that the situation was serious, she ran to a neighbor, who called 112 and followed the instructions given over the phone by the control panel.

When the Palazzolo Red Cross arrived, the boy was already in cardiorespiratory arrest. With a race against time, the little girl was escorted to the air ambulance that landed in Piazzale Giovanni XXIII and was taken to the Papa Giovanni hospital in Bergamo, where she was declared death.
