(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 13 – Slight decrease in infections compared to Saturday: 1,458 new cases of coronavirus found in the last 24 hours, raising the total since the beginning of the emergency to 287,297. However, the decline is affected by the lower number of swabs made: about 20,000 fewer than yesterday (72,143 versus 92,706).

Seven are the victims in one day, for a total of 35,610 while there is no region without new cases.

Intensive therapies, on the other hand, continue to increase and, for the first time since June, the number of hospitalized patients in the other departments exceeds two thousand. Data from the Ministry of Health shows that 187 people are admitted to intensive care, 5 more than yesterday, while in ordinary wards there are already 2,042 patients, 91 more than on Saturday. 1,006 new patients, bringing the total number of currently positive patients to 38,509. On the other hand, there are 36,280 people in home isolation, 910 more than yesterday. Finally, the increase in the last 24 hours in the number of discharged and recovered was 443 for a total of 213,634 (ANSA).
