They died within hours of each other, both victims of two incurable diseases that robbed them of the love of their loved ones at 48 and 44 years old. San Polo di Piave and San Vendemiano mourn the disappearance of Andrea Noale and Paolo Sant.
As reported by “Il Gazzettino di Treviso”, the two friends met thanks to their passion for cycling. Andrea’s father had been Paolo Sant’s sports director at the Orsago Mobil House. Growing up on their paths, they had moved away from cycling, but the two always stayed in touch. Andrea Noale passed away Tuesday night at the age of 48. struck down by a tumor he had been struggling with for some time. Admitted to the Antica Fonte hospice in Conegliano, he left his wife Irani, known in Mexico, and his son Santiago, as well as his parents Laura and Antonio. Shortly after Andrea’s disappearance, her friend too Paolo Sant passed away because of the affection of his loved ones at 44 years old. A worker at the Freschi Imballaggi company in Cison di Valmarino, he leaves his partner Vania, his father Giuseppe and his mother Diva always by his side during his illness. The funeral of the two friends will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 18 at 3:00 p.m., in San Polo di Piave and San Vendemiano.
