The new Dpcm arrives today. This was confirmed yesterday by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte when leaving the Senate after his speech to illustrate the measures under discussion and in which he announced “different norms based on territorial criticalities” and that the curfew -which evokes the confinement- will be “in Late night”. Three areas corresponding to three risk scenarios will be identified from which increasingly restrictive measures will be implemented; planned total distance education in secondary schools and in the final year of secondary school (this measure is also still under discussion) early or total closure of non-essential shops and public establishments such as bars and restaurants; reduction of public transport capacity to 50%.

French health authorities have registered 52,518 new cases of coronavirus infection in the country in the last 24 hours. Yesterday the new positives were 46,390. The number of deaths increased by 416, up from 231 yesterday.
