In the Lecco area, young people are expected to work in schools with a regular contract. In fact, job opportunities for young people in the area also return in the fall: a new call for “Competent young people” has been published, promoted by the Living Land project, by the Lecco district and by the Girasole Social Company. The call is aimed at young people between 18 and 27 years old, offering them employment, with a regular employment contract, for activities related to the resumption of the school year in the territory of the Municipalities of the Lecco area.

Working in schools: what are the tasks
The selected people will be dedicated to the care of the children / young people in the morning, before the start of classes, and in the afternoon at the end of the schedule, in attendance at school lunch and the subsequent rest and in the accompaniment in school buses. or for piedibus services, throughout the school year, with a number of hours that may vary depending on the service.
Availability from October 2020 to the end of June 2021
In addition to the age requirement, it is necessary for the candidates to be predisposed and interested in working with children and pre-adolescents and who are capable of managing groups of children / young people even independently and knowing how to face any unforeseen event; in addition to being reliable, punctual and constant, capable of moving in the school context recognizing and respecting their role and that of the other professionals present. The requested availability runs from October 2020 to the end of June 2021.
The questions
Applications to participate must be submitted by Tuesday 29 September 2020 according to the procedures indicated in the call published on the website www.livingland.info, where the selection criteria are also specified. The selected young people will be guaranteed technical training that also includes an in-depth study of the preventive measures against the risk of contagion of Covid-19 to be adopted and they will be provided with personal protective equipment.
