Covid, positive swabs increase again in Prato: in the last 24 hours there were 14

After yesterday’s truce, the upward trend of positive cases in Covid in Prato resumes. In the last 24 hours, as indicated in the Bulletin of the Tuscany Region, 14 positive swabs were found in Prato (13 in the capital and one in Carmignano). A number that hasn’t been seen since before the summer. The reassuring fact, if anything, is that almost all cases are asymptomatic or with mild symptoms. In fact, none of them needed to be hospitalized in intensive care.
In Tuscany, overall, there are 122 more positive samples than yesterday (45 identified during screening and 77 from detection activities) out of the total of 7,803 tested. Even today there are no new deaths.
The average age of 122 cases today is approximately 41 years (27% are under 26, 23% are between 26 and 40, 41% are between 41 and 65, 9% are over 65) and, in Regarding the clinical states, 60% were asymptomatic, 23% pauci-symptomatic, 13% mild.
Of the 122 positives today, 9 cases may be related to returns from abroad and 6 to returns from other Italian regions (3 Sardinia, 3 others). 33% of the cases is a contact linked to a previous case.
In general, throughout the region, 1,909 people are isolated in their homes, since they present mild symptoms that do not require hospital care or do not present symptoms (97 more than yesterday, plus 5.4%). The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 85 (8 more than yesterday, 10.4% more), 8 in intensive care (stable compared to yesterday).
