Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 658 new infections have been detected (10.24 percent of the 6,427 swabs performed). In addition, there were 21 deaths from Covid-19, in addition to another 9 previous deaths entered the system today and related to the period from December 1 to 6.
A total of 36,484 people tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic, of which: 8,223 in Trieste (+87), 16,148 in Udine (+400), 7,291 in Pordenone (+150) and 4,378 in Gorizia (+16), to which are added 444 people from outside the region (+5). The current cases of infection are 15,366.
The number of patients undergoing treatment in intensive care has risen to 64 (yesterday there were 58 ed) while the number of hospitalized in other departments dropped to 658 (yesterday there were seven more ed). The deaths totaled 1,089, with the following territorial subdivision: 360 in Trieste (+9), 443 in Udine (+14), 226 in Pordenone (+3) and 60 in Gorizia (+4). The totally cured are 20,029 (+601 compared to yesterday), the clinically cured 489 (+29) and the isolated 14,155 (+9).
