Eleven new positives of covid-19 in the Forlì area. This is the lowest figure for Emilia Romagna and the most comforting for the area since the beginning of the second wave of the epidemic. This is the distribution of the new cases: eight in Forlì, one in Dovadola, one in Predappio and one in Santa Sofia. To these are added four cases in the school environment: a teacher and an operator from the Liceo Classico, an operator from the “De Amicis” primary school and a student from the Baracca Technical Institute. There are 4 people admitted to intensive care, at the provincial level 35 positive and 92 recovered.

In Emilia-Romagna, 1,211 more swabs were recorded compared to Thursday, out of a total of 17,459 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives over the number of tampons made falls to 6.9%, from 8.2% on Thursday. The regional Rt index, which measures the transmissibility of the infection, continues to decline: the new weekly figure is 0.81, compared to 0.99 last week.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 695 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and detection activities. Overall, 206 of the new positives were already isolated at the time of swabbing, 407 were identified within known foci. The average age of new positives on Friday is 45.7 years.
Of the 695 asymptomatic, 333 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 61 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 8 with serological tests, and 9 through pre-hospital tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 284 cases. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 361 new cases, Reggio Emilia (198), Modena (112), Ferrara (101), Piacenza (92), Ravenna (88), Rimini (86), Parma (77) and in «iimolese 61.
As for the total of people healed, they are 1,811 more than on Thursday and reach 70,508. The number of active cases continues to decrease, that is, the actual patients to date are 64,055 (-661 compared to Thursday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, are 61,012 (-630), 95.2% of the total active cases.
Unfortunately, 61 new deaths were registered: 4 in the province of Piacenza (two men aged 89 and 75 years and two women aged 85 and 89 years); 2 in Parma (two women aged 78 and 85); 5 in Reggio Emilia (all men 62, 83, 85, 90 and 70 years old); 9 in Modena (5 men of 72, 77, 60, 69, 92 years old and 4 women of 97.62.92.66); in the province of Bologna there are 13 (including 5 men of 86, 78, 63, 86 and 96 and 8 women of 82, 94, 79, 94, 82, 94, 83). There are 231 patients admitted to intensive care (+2 compared to Thursday), 2,812 those from the rest of the Covid departments (-33). In the territory, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 16 in Piacenza (+3), 17 in Parma (-1), 26 in Reggio Emilia (-1), 51 in Modena (-2 ), 56 in Bologna (+5), 8 in Imola (number unchanged compared to yesterday), 18 in Ferrara (unchanged), 14 in Ravenna (unchanged), 4 in Forlì (-1), 2 in Cesena ( unchanged) and 19 in Rimini (-1).
