The arrival of the 350,000 doses of vaccines, scheduled for today, has been postponed to Spain one day due to logistical problems at Pfizer in Belgium. This was announced by the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, noting that the delay, for the same reasons, also concerns seven other European countries, not to mention which is. This was reported by the Spanish media, indicating that the logistics problem has already been solved and that the delivery will be made tomorrow.
Meanwhile, German Health Minister Jens Spahn explained that Biontech-Pfizer vaccine production sites will increase in Germany. “We are working together with Biontech-Pfizer so that there can be more vaccine production centers in Marburg and Hesse,” he told ZDF.
Biontech has acquired the Marburg production site from Novartis. And according to the German company, now only small adjustments will be necessary, to start with the production of the anticovid vaccine.
