In Ravenna eight positive, 2 with symptoms, seven identified as a result of familial cases

THE REGIONAL SITUATION, TODAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2020 – Are registered 101 new positive cases (yesterday there were 56), of which 50 asymptomatic, of regional contact detection and tracing activities. Have been carried out more than 10 1,000 swabs (1 positive swab approximately every 100). L ‘the average age of new positives has increased to 46 years. Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, in Emilia-Romagna they have registered 34,612 cases of positivity.

Of the 101 new cases, 46 were already isolated at the time of the swab run and 69 were identified in known outbreaks. There are 9 new infections related to returns from abroad, for which the Region has provided two nasopharyngeal swabs during fiduciary isolation if they arrive from non-Schengen countries and one swab if they return from Greece, Spain, Croatia and Malta. . The number of cases of return from other regions is 2. Of 50 new asymptomatic patients, 30 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 19 through risk category tests introduced by the Region, 1 thanks to pre-admission screening.

Regarding the situation in the territory, the highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Bologna (26), Parma (14) and Reggio emilia (12). A Bologna, of 17 new positives, 2 swabs for being a professional category at risk, while 15 cases were detected by the presence of symptoms. TO Parma and province there are 14 new positives: 8 after contact tracing activities, 3 are symptomatic patients, 1 is a case of return from abroad (Romania), 1 returns from another region (Sardinia) while 1 was diagnosed thanks to the pre-admission tests. In the province by Reggio Emilia, of 12 new positive cases, 6 are attributable to known outbreaks, of which 5 in the family, 3 were diagnosed upon returning from abroad (2 from Ukraine, 1 from Morocco), 2 were identified in labor outbreaks, 1 classified as sporadic.
