THE REGIONAL SITUATION, TODAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2020 – Today in the region there were 127 positive cases (yesterday there were 143; reat the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 33,631 positive cases were recorded in Emilia-Romagna), of which 65 asymptomatic were identified in the context of regional contact tracing and detection activities. The average age of new positives today is 40 years. The swabs made yesterday were 4,849 for an average of 2.6 positive swabs per 100 (greater than the previous day).
Of the 127 new cases, 74 were already isolated at the time the swab was done and 51 were identified from known outbreaks. There are 28 new infections related to returns from abroad, for which the Region has provided two nasopharyngeal swabs during fiduciary isolation if they arrive from non-Schengen countries and one swab if they return from Greece, Spain, Croatia and Malta. . The number of cases of return from other regions is 5. Of 65 new asymptomatic patients, 28 were identified through screening and tests introduced by the Region, 7 through pre-admission tests, 29 thanks to contact tracing, while that in 1 case the epidemiological investigation is still ongoing.
Regarding the situation in the territory, the highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Bologna (21), Piacenza (19), Ravenna (19), Reggio Emilia (18).
In Bologna and its province, Of 20 new cases, 2 returned from abroad (Spain), 2 from other Italian regions (Lombardy), 1 was diagnosed after the holidays in the Romagna Riviera and attributable to the already known outbreak of a nightclub, 7 were identified in how many contacts of already known cases, all in the family, 1 was identified in the context of prehospital controls, 6 cases were classified as sporadic and 1 is still under epidemiological investigation. In the province of Ravenna there are 19 new infections: 4 return from abroad (Romania), 12 are contacts of known cases, of which 9 within family outbreaks, 2 cases voluntarily screened and 1 case was classified as sporadic. TO Reggio emilia and province, of 18 new cases, 6 are attributable to family outbreaks, 5 sporadic cases, 6 return from abroad (1 from Morocco, 3 from Ukraine, 1 from Egypt, 1 from Albania), 1 case from another region (Lombardy).
DEATH – No deaths today.
