TREVISO La Marca is confirmed as the stronghold of Luca Zaia, and it was known: from his fellow citizens the governor obtained more than six points of personal approval more than those attributed on average by the Venetians, certainly not a little generous with him. But what is the real capital of Zaialand? Mansuè, Sinistra Piave, on the border with the province of Pordenone: in this city, land of furniture factories and with one of the immigrant communities, especially from Eastern Europe and well integrated into the social fabric, more numerous than the area In Treviso, more than nine out of ten voters have (re) pledged their trust to whoever has led the Veneto for the past ten years and is preparing to hold the helm for the next five years. In this municipality, once the voting in the four sections is finished, Zaia can boast of 90.02 percent to pale the proverbial Bulgarian elections. And as proof of success, the list with his name includes 68% of the indications. Therefore, it is not surprising that here yesterday’s main challenger, the standard-bearer of the center-left coalition, has to settle for just 5.85% (more than ten points below the regional average). But it is the entire Opitergino-Mottense district that pays little less than a plebiscite to the politician from Treviso: in Gorgo al Monticano 89.7 out of every hundred voters who went to the polls have chosen to reconfirm the current summit of Veneto with great fanfare; Ormelle and Fontanelle stop at 89.3 and 88.9 respectively; in Motta di Livenza 85.15, in Meduna it is slightly more than 84%, in the main center Oderzo slight downward adjustment to 82.7. The citizens of Mansuè reward the standard bearer of the Venetian League even more than the inhabitants of their town: in Godega Sant’Urbano, where he was born, Zaia reaches 83.7 percent of the votes.
THE CROSS
The less brilliant notes (so to speak) for the governor, however, come a bit surprisingly from the opposite end of the province: in Castelfranco Veneto, Luca Zaia collects 69.14% of the total votes. A result that would make any other candidate happy, but in this particular circumstance runs the risk of being well below the average, unless there is a sharp turn in the electoral sections that still remain (so far 18 out of 32 have ended operations) . A signal of attention also for the mayor Stefano Marcon, candidate to succeed himself (in the city of Giorgione, in fact, there is also a vote to renew the municipal administration)? Today we will know when the count will begin for the municipalities. However, the reduced speed seems to be a prerogative only of the capital of the castle: in the district the percentages return to the usual, well above 80 percent, for example in Resana, Vedelago, Castello di Godego. And colder (always, of course, in proportion to global success) Treviso also proves it: in the capital the governor gets 68.3 percent of the votes, but it should be noted that here the vote progresses with greater delay, with less than a third. of the sections that reported the result at the midnight threshold and, therefore, with the overall values still susceptible to some deviations.
OTHERS
And it is no coincidence that it is precisely in the most populated municipality of the province where Arturo Lorenzoni can boast of his best performance, rising to 23.65%. As for the other large centers, in Conegliano Zaia it collects 75% (19 places out of 35), (in Mogliano 71.3 (20 out of 30), in Montebelluna 78.7% (28 out of 28), in Vittorio Veneto the 73 (only one section to go). Known as Treviso, Lorenzoni also defends itself in the southern part of the Marca, confirming a tradition of more progressive orientation: 19.7% in Mogliano Veneto (with 3.83% for the standard bearer of the Cinque Stelle, Enrico Cappelletti, among the best results he obtained in the province) and two points less in the nearby Preganziol.Final curiosity: in his Roncade, where she was mayor for a decade, they have not forgotten Simonetta Rubinato: little less than 12.4 Voters out of every hundred mark their name at the polls (1.05% did so in the entire province), second best candidate for president, obviously behind the unattainable Luca Zaia with 76.1%. Piave Antonio Guadagnini (Party of the Venetians) at 12.97%: Szsumski effect. Last updated: 13:03
