BOLOGNA – The percentage of positives in swabs performed in Emilia-Romagna went from 4.6% yesterday to 7.8% today: today, December 30, 1,427 new cases of coronavirus emerged (590 asymptomatic) compared to 18,360 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. Yesterday there were 894 new cases in more than 19 thousand swabs. The deaths reported today by the Region are 69.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 241 new cases, Ravenna (237) and Modena (190); followed by Rimini (153), Reggio Emilia (139), Piacenza (124), Ferrara (121), Parma (92). Then the territory of Forlì (56), then Cesena (47) and finally Imola (27).
Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 169,396 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna. People healed amount to 105,656 (+2,113 since yesterday). Active cases, that is, actual patients, to date are 56,057 (-755 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, total 53,186 (-807). There are 230 patients admitted to intensive care (+9 compared to yesterday), 2,641 those from the rest of Covid departments (+43).
Deaths overall increased to 7,683 with 69 recorded in the last 24 hours: 4 in Piacenza (two women, respectively, 68 and 86 years old, and two men, 73 and 77 years old), 3 in Parma province (one woman from 84 years and two men aged 84 and 89); 6 in the Modena area (two women aged 87 and 97 years and 4 men, respectively 71, 80, 84 and 87 years old); 21 in the province of Bologna (14 women – aged 70 and 73, two aged 82, one 83, one 86, two 88, one 91, one 93, one 94, two 95, and one 96 years old – and 7 men: 73, 79, 80, 82, 91 years old and two 95 years old); 5 in Imola (two women aged 80 and 85 respectively, and three men aged 82, 88 and 90); 9 in the Ferrara area (5 women of 81, 86, two of 89 and one of 90; 4 men of 70, 80, 81, 88); 10 in the province of Ravenna (7 women – 65, 67, 81, 90, two 93 and one 96 – and 3 men, respectively, 80, 81 and 86 years old); 4 in Forlì-Cesena (an 86-year-old woman and 3 men, 59, 67 and 94 years old); 6 in Rimini (3 women of 89, 90 and 92 years old and 3 men of 79, 84 and 91 years old, in addition to the death of a 74-year-old man living in another region). There are no deaths in the province of Reggio Emilia.
