For the second day in a row, Ciociaria has more than 330 infected. However, there is another death. On Wednesday there were 343 cases, yesterday there were 337. Until now, it had already occurred only once, between November 5 and 6, with 394 and 349 cases. We must add to the account the 187 negatives announced yesterday.
The situation
Yesterday’s victim is a 76-year-old man from Frosinone. This is the 120th death since the start of the pandemic in the province of Frosinone. 56 people have not survived the virus in the past 23 days. 39 of them have died in the last eleven days.
The highest number of infections occurs, as the day before yesterday, in Sora where the situation is constantly monitored by the health authorities. Sora registers 25 new cases. It was followed by Cassino with 20, Alatri with 14 and Isola del Liri with 13. Then Anagni and Ferentino matched with 12, Frosinone with 11, Pontecorvo and Veroli with 9. In these municipalities there are a good number of negative people, of the order of 16 units . in Alatri, 4 pm in Sora, 12 am in Frosinone and 10 am in Cassino. Also 7 negatives were reported in Veroli, 6 in Anagni and one in Ferentino, Isola del Liri and Pontecorvo. In total, there are 187 nagativized, much less than the 410 certified on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the level of 9,500 infected since the beginning of the emergency has been exceeded, yesterday’s value was 9,602. This week we are close to 1,000: now there are 974, for an average of 243.5. In November, however, infections reached an average of 262.5 for a total of 4,987, much more than the 3,528, an average of 113.8, which ended the month of October, the worst to date.
Making a comparison with the last weeks, the 974 until yesterday are higher than the 835 of the November 9-12 period for an average of 208.7. Also on Thursday, the first week of the month presented 1,092 infections with a daily average of 273. Not surprisingly, the first week of November is the peak with 2,044 positives. Even earlier, from October 26 to 29, there were 717 infections for an average of 179.2. And so this week, right now, is the second worst of the last four. Those of the explosion of infections.

Regional Councilor Alessio D’Amato takes stock of the situation as follows: «Of more than 27,000 tampons in Lazio (+650) there are 2,697 positive cases (-169), 61 deaths (-19) and +586 recovered. The occupancy rate of the total intensive care beds is 32% and that of the medical area for Covid patients 49%. We must not lower our guard, we still need time.
In the ASL of Rome, in the last 24 hours, the cases are 1,989 with 48 deaths. In the provinces there are 708 cases and thirteen deaths. In Latin ASL there are 183 new cases and three deaths of people aged 66, 83 and 88 with pathologies. In the Asl di Frosinone, therefore, 337 among isolated cases at home, contacts of a case already known or with a family link. In the ASL of Viterbo there are 92 new cases and five deaths between the ages of 62, 84, 84, 85 and 100 years. In Rieti’s ASL there are 96 cases and five deaths of 74, 75, 88, 91 and 91 years with pathologies.
According to the National Agency for Regional Health Services, the intensive care employment rate was 23% in Lazio and 30% in Italy on November 3. From there there was a progressive increase in Italy to 34% on November 8, while Lazio remained at 24%. In the rest of the country it rose to 39% and then exceeded the threshold of 40 and stood at 43% on November 18.
