In the Cesena area, 9 new cases of Coronavirus positivity have emerged in the last 24 hours. The data is updated by the newsletter of the Emilia-Romagna region. Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 32,505 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 134 more than yesterday, of which 72 asymptomatic were identified in the context of regional contact tracing and detection activities. The number of swabs performed exceeds 10 thousand. The control and prevention activity continues: of the 134 new cases, 64 were already in isolation at the time of the swab and 63 were identified in the context of known outbreaks. Regarding the distribution in the territory, 5 are Cesena, 2 in Gambettola and 2 in Cesenatico.

There are 41 new infections related to returns from abroad, for which the Region has provided two nasopharyngeal swabs during fiduciary isolation if they arrive from non-Schengen countries and one swab if they return from Greece, Spain, Croatia and Malta. . The number of cases returning from other regions is 16. The average age of new positives is currently 38. Of 72 new asymptomatic patients, 41 were identified through the screening and tests introduced by the Region, 31 thanks to contact tracing. Regarding the situation in the area, the highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Bologna (24), Modena (21), Ravenna (15), Ferrara (14), Parma (11), Reggio Emilia (11) and Forlì.
