Another 29 deaths in the last 24 hours in Puglia due to Covid-19, 22 fewer hospitalizations, 801 recovered and 1,382 new positives. These are the numbers of the epidemiological bulletin issued today, Saturday, December 19, by the Puglia region. The curve does not go down. 10,848 swabs were recorded. The new positives are divided as follows: 566 in the province of Bari, 49 in the province of Brindisi (yesterday 102), 153 in the province of Bat, 241 in the province of Foggia, 55 in the province of Lecce, 309 in the province of Taranto, 6 residents outside the region, 3 cases of province of unknown residence.
The deaths, on the other hand, are distributed as follows: 18 in the province of Bari, 5 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce and 1 in the province of Taranto. Since the beginning of the emergency, 951,771 tests have been carried out, 24,263 patients have been cured, currently 53,389 positive. Of these 1609 are hospitalized.
The total of positive cases of Covid in Apulia is 79,808, divided as follows: 30,676 in the province of Bari; 9,270 in the province of Bat; 5,840 in the province of Brindisi; 17,603 in the province of Foggia; 6,260 in the province of Lecce; 9,621 in the province of Taranto; 468 attributed to residents outside the region; 70 province of unknown residence.

Situation of hospitals in the Brindisi area
13 patients from internal medicine and 13 from pulmonology are admitted to the Ostuni hospital. Al Perrino, on the other hand, there are 17 patients in infectious diseases, 18 in pulmonology, 9 in internal medicine and 8 in resuscitation. The Post Covid welcomes 10 patients in Mesagne, 8 in Ceglie Messapica, 9 in Cisternino.
