Scary downloads. Many. Something like 357,000 downloads in approximately 48 hours. The constant growth of new positives in recent weeks has allowed Immuni, the contact tracing application launched by the Italian government last June, to exceed 7 million when only on October 2, as the application itself says, they had been downloaded 6,679,118. times.

To date, 7,036,898 citizens have activated it on their smartphones. This is 18% of devices in Italy, a percentage of which children under 14 are excluded. So far the application has sent 5,870 notifications and at the moment 357 positive users have uploaded the codes that allow notifying people who have come into contact with them. The data is periodically disseminated by the official Immuni channels, by those of the Department of Digital Transformation and by the Ministry of Health.
