Imane Fadil, the investigating judge, does not archive the investigation into the death of the Moroccan model who is witnessing Ruby’s trials. The motives and actions to the prosecutors

The request for presentation by the Milan Prosecutor is dated September 19, 2019. But what seemed like a closed story, the death of the Moroccan model Immane fadil One of the witnesses in the trials on the Ruby case still has no end. The examining magistrate of Milan Alessandra cecchelli It rejected the request of the prosecutors, Deputy Tiziana Siciliano and the alternate Luga Gaglio, and accepted that of the lawyers for the woman’s family, including the lawyer Mirko Mazzali. New investigations and evaluations are needed, also with expert reports, on the death of the young woman who passed away on March 1, 2019 at Humanitas di Rozzano, in the Milan area. For the investigating judge, further investigations are needed to assess whether there is a a “link” between death and “health behavior” and whether, among other things, the “disease” could be diagnosed earlier. Imane Fadil, there is no doubt about this, however, she was killed by medullary aplasia: a disease that can be congenital or acquired after exposure to chemical agents, ionizing radiation or viruses.

In mid-September 2019, after months of complex investigations, the researchers had established that Fadil had been struck down by this rare disease diagnosed three days before his death in the Milan clinic. Immediately after his death, on March 1, two years ago, the results of some analyzes had raised considerable alarm and created a series of questions and doubts, so much so that the investigation it had been opened for voluntary manslaughter. The hypothesis, later disproved by later research, was poisoned with radioactive substances or heavy metals. Hypothesis that then also made sense due to a phone call in which the girl had explained to her lawyer at the time: “They wanted to kill me.”

The Milan prosecutor, after the result of the complex investigations, had requested the closure of the investigation also excluding medical liability. In the opposition petition discussed at the February 2020 hearing, the lawyers for the next of kin, lawyers Mazzali and Nicola Quatrano, had indicated to the investigating judge thethe need for a full suite of new “expert assessments”, also on the supposed responsibilities of the doctors in the therapies, according to them, erroneous and on the not opportune diagnosis. For the judge, as indicated in the provision, “more investigations are necessary to have a clear and exhaustive evidence” on the “case”. For the investigating judge, as the family’s lawyers affirm, “more investigations are needed through a specific expert evaluation” to verify whether “the gastroesophageal haemorrhage that led to the death of Imane Fadil was predictable and preventableIf it were “possible a more timely verification of the diagnosis of the disease” and if therefore death could be avoided with “the appropriate treatment”. Therefore, the investigating judge set a period of 6 months for the new investigations, returning the documents to the prosecutors.
