He was born in Alcamo (Trapani) and came very young to Piedmont and Turin. Her vocation had always been to cook. After moving to Crescentino (Vercelli) with the family, for ten years (between 1985 and 1995) the Chef (many simply called him that) had managed the La Fontanina restaurant in Verrua Savoia. They remember him especially for Erice’s gnocchi.

Parallel to that of the restaurateur, he also opened catering activities that he maintained until 2005. With this, he managed the Grupo Fata corporate restaurant in Pianezza. After leaving the Verrua Savoia restaurant, he returned to live in Turin.

Since 2005, the new twist (in name and in fact) with the opening of the current restaurant together with his family, always remaining in the kitchen until closing due to the coronavirus. For all those who knew him, he had been a point of reference, professional and personal.

Contour was also a huge soccer fan. He was a fan of Juventus and his Alcamo, clubs that share the Juventus uniform.
