The municipality of Ferrara, managed by the Northern League player Alan Fabbri, has published a post on their social profiles that has caused negative reactions among users and citizens. The posted image read “If you are drunk you are partially responsible for the rape,” presented in the form of a subpoena. The description read: “The consumption of alcohol and drugs makes you partly responsible for the abuse you suffered,” with a red x next to it.

In the image, the logo of the Emilia-Romanga Region and that of the European Union, both sponsors of the campaign to promote the UN 2030 Agenda, were placed. “As a woman, I am greatly offended and disgusted by this post,” wrote one of the users. “Congratulations to your marketing agency!” Another person wrote. “Post a similar phrase without adding two more lines to clarify the content.”

Following critical comments, the Ferrata City Council eliminated the post, replacing it for a second, specifying that “the quotation marks refer to a phrase that, according to Istat, 15% of Italians unfortunately think”. We apologize if the message has offended the public’s sensibilities or transmitted a controversial message ”, we read again.
