Substitutions for the 2020/21 school year: we do not know if and for which competition classes it might be necessary to remove from outside the ranking to find teachers. For the next two years, in fact, provincial and school rankings have been established, to which the School Offices and School Directors will have to make a priority reference to fill vacancies for the entire school year or even only for temporary replacements.
The application before August 6 was mandatory to apply for inclusion in the rankings for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 biennium
Teachers already included in the school rankings of the previous triennium 2017/20 also had to renew their application, presenting titles and services ex novo. OM No. 60/2020, in fact, has revamped the substitution system and therefore requires all applicants to sign a new insertion application.
With the publication of the GPS, which has already been carried out in all provinces, the 2017/20 rankings have lost value and cannot be used. The ministry declared them “expired and unreachable.”
Therefore, those who, due to personal problems or because they did not know the update in time, did not send the request before August 6, will not be able to appear in the rankings.
The request for making available
The only possibility remains. In the note of September 5, 2020, the Ministry limited its dissemination: “Requests for making available must be submitted exclusively by teachers who are not registered in any provincial and school rankings and can be submitted so that a province is explicitly declared in the instance “, without specifying the penalties to be served in the event of non-compliance with this provision.
Some teachers claim that the need to work far outweighs possible penalties (for example, not recognizing punctuation).
Will you be able to join the ranking in 2022?
Will these teachers currently outside the ranking circuit be included in the rankings (if they still need them, if they have not been hired in the next competitions in the meantime) after the 2020/22 biennium?
Regarding certified teachers, the answer is yes. However, for teachers in possession only of the degree, it is necessary to wait for new regulatory references: in fact, the entry of unqualified people was stopped by law 107/2015, but after those written words there were two other updates: 2017 and 2020. For what does not exclude a third party.
Of course, we hope that those who find themselves in this situation do not have to wait for the next update to be hired through the competition procedures that are about to be launched, if the teachers involved have submitted the application in the correct terms and they are going to do the tests.
