“After seven years of excruciating pain in my hips due to the disappearance of the cartilage, on Thursday the 17th I decided to have a one-time operation to rebuild both because I could no longer walk a few meters.” The Facebook post is by Carlo Verdone, who adds: “Today … a little miracle!”

The Roman actor and director is shown in a video while walking slowly: “It will seem trivial, I walk … but no.” And he tells how much he suffered: “It seems to me a miracle what happened,” he says again, walking without crutches. “Well done surgeons, brave me … and I have no pain” whereas before “every time you saw me in a movie I went crazy with pain”.
